Emperor Wen, also known as Cao Pi, was the son of the infamous Cao Cao. He is known for forcing the last emperor of Han to abdicate the throne to him, marking the end of the Han Dynasty. Cao Pi then established the state of Cao Wei, one of the Three Kingdoms discussed in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which he ruled from 220-226 as Emperor Wen of Wei.
