Sennyû-ji is a [[Buddhist temple]] outside [[Kyoto]], established during the reign of [[Emperor Tencho|Emperor Tenchô]] (r. [[824]]-[[833]]). Emperors beginning with [[Emperor Go-Mizunoo]] (r. [[1611]]-[[1629]]) were buried there.
