I'd put Osaka Castle in Sengoku (or Azuchi-Momoyama, whatever) but not Edo. It was built in Azuchi/Sengoku and even though the battles were Edo period, they really represented the last warring states gasp. We could, however, put it under both. Or Bakamatsu, Meiji, or modern day, since it lasted all that time...but sticking with Sengoku and Edo seems best.
