Norikatsu was a son of [[Uesugi Noriyoshi]]. He held [[Matsuyama castle]] in [[Musashi province|Musashi]], which was attacked by the joint forces of Takeda and Hôjô in [[1563]]. He is thought to have gone on to serve the Hôjô.
