Suketsuku was a retainer of [[Ito Yoshisuke|Itô Yoshisuke]] of [[Hyuga province]]. When the Itô fell to the [[Shimazu clan|Shimazu]] in [[1577]], Suketsuku secretly communicated with the [[Otomo clan|Ôtomo]]. When the Ôtomo advanced into Hyuga in 1578, Suketsuku came out to join them. He was killed in the defeat at [[Battle of Mimigawa|Mimigawa]] that year.
