Masayo distinguished himself in the [[Battle of Mimasetoge]] in [[1569]]. He survived the fall of the [[Takeda clan|Takeda]] in [[1582]] and afterwards served the [[Tokugawa clan|Tokugawa]]. A somewhat obscure figure, Masayo is nonetheless occasionally counted among Shingen's "Twenty Four Generals".
