Nihonzaemon

Born as a son of a lower samurai of Owari han. He became a leader of bandits.
In October 1746, the Bakufu listed him on the most wanted list.
3 months later, he turned himself in to the Machi Bugyo in Kyoto.
He was executed in March 1747.
The character of Nippon Daemon in the 1862 kabuki play Benten Kozo is based upon Nihonzaemon.
