Hiranoya Rokubei
Hiranoya Rokubei served as head of the Japantown in Hoi An in the late 1630s. He simultaneously served as port administrator for the Nguyen family lords of the region, and as an agent for the Dutch East India Company's interactions with trade partners in the city.
