Hakugen

Hakugen, also known as Arasaki Shintarô, was a 20th century Okinawan painter and calligrapher. He began studying calligraphy and painting on his own (without a master/teacher) in his 50s, and had a number of his pieces shown in the Okiten.
He never took disciples.
