• 754/4 Another of the four ships, delayed by a fire aboard ship, arrives safely in Satsuma province.

Other Events of 754

• The fourth of four ships which departed China the previous year is blown off-course and is wrecked upon the coast of what is today Vietnam. The passengers and crew are attacked, and most are killed. Abe no Nakamaro and Fujiwara no Kiyokawa survive.
