The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum is an art museum located in the Shirokanedai/Meguro area of Tokyo. It was established in 1983, taking over a building and extensive gardens originally built in 1933 as the residence of Imperial Prince Asaka. The building was later used as an official residence for Prime Ministers and as an official state guesthouse before being turned over to become an art museum.
