- Date: 1558/7/12
During the 7th month of 1558, Oda Nobunaga attempted to attack Iwakura castle from behind by deploying his troops in Ukino, about 12 kilometers to the North. About 3,000 troops from Iwakura met his attack. The battle lasted a few hours, after which the enemy was routed. Over 1250 enemy heads were taken, however Nobunaga returned to Kiyosu rather than push on to the castle.
