Jo Seokjin

Jump to navigationJump to searchJo Seokjin, also known by the art-name Sorim, was one of the last court painters of the Joseon royal court.
He spent a year in China in the 1880s, during which he studied Qing painting styles. He also experimented with Western-style painting techniques.
