There was originally a Chinzei bugyo, who would sometimes also be referred to as Chinzei Tandai; however, by the end of the 13th century, the Chinzei Tandai (or Kyushu Tandai, or Kyushu Kanrei, all names for the same thing) became a separate post, with the Chinzei bugyo as his assistant. - Aha. There was originally a Chinzei bugyo, who would sometimes also be referred to as Chinzei Tandai; however, by the end of the 13th century, the Chinzei Tandai (or Kyushu Tandai, or Kyushu Kanrei, all names for the same thing) became a separate post, with the Chinzei bugyo as his assistant.
