A style of Kenjutsu.
Founded by Kondo Kuranosuke of Totomi in late 18th century. He opened Dojo in Edo. Tennen Rishin-ryu was widely spread among farmers in Tama county during the second master Kondo Sansuke.
The third master Kondo Shusuke adopted the forth master Kondo Isami who later became Shinsengumi leader. Kondo Isami's daughter's husband Kondo Yugoro inherited the fifth master. However, Kondo Isami died before teaching Tennen Rishin-ryu's Ôgi to Yugoro.
