1569/4 Luis Frois meets with Oda Nobunaga in Kyoto.
1569/7 Fujii Kogen takes Kannabe castle from Mori forces.

- Yamanaka Shikanosuke clashes with Môri forces in Izumo province.
- Fujii Kogen is forced out of Kannabe castle by Mori forces. He is defeated in the following battle.

- Shimazu Yoshihisa takes Ôguchi castle in Ôsumi from the Hishikari.
- Chôsokabe Motochika defeats the Aki clan of Tosa and begins his efforts to take all of Shikoku.
1569/10
- Môri and Ôtomo forces clash near Hakata in Chikuzen province.
- Oda Nobunaga defeats Kitabatake Tomonori of Ise province and forces him to submit; soon after he abolishes Ise's toll barriers.
1569/10/9 Takeda Shingen surrounds Odawara castle in Sagami; around a week later Shingen retreats and in the process defeats a Hôjô army at the Battle of Mimasetoge.
1569/11/23 Hôjô Ujimasa repairs Odawara castle.
1569/12 Môri Motonari withdraws his army from Chikuzen province.
