- 1569/1/5 The Miyoshi attack Ashikaga Yoshiaki at the Honkokuji in Kyoto.
- 1569/4 Luis Frois meets with Oda Nobunaga in Kyoto.
- 1569/7 Fujii Kogen takes Kannabe castle from Mori forces.
- 1569/8
- Yamanaka Shikanosuke clashes with Môri forces in Izumo province.
- Fujii Kogen is forced out of Kannabe castle by Mori forces. He is defeated in the following battle.

- Shimazu Yoshihisa takes Ôguchi castle in Ôsumi from the Hishikari.
- Chôsokabe Motochika defeats the Aki clan of Tosa and begins his efforts to take all of Shikoku.

- Môri and Ôtomo forces clash near Hakata in Chikuzen province.
- Oda Nobunaga defeats Kitabatake Tomonori of Ise province and forces him to submit; soon after he abolishes Ise's toll barriers.
