There is no Izu province. Wasn't it Izumo province or Iyo province? If it meant present Izu 伊豆 the province should be Suruga province or Totomi province.
- As far as I know, it was the province invaded by hojo soun in 1493 or so, which heralded in the sengoku period. During the Sengoku anyway, it was a seperate, if small, province --Kitsuno 23:03, 21 September 2006 (PDT)
