This needs sources bad Nagaeyari 19:33, 27 November 2006 (PST)
A lot of it is just things I simply remember from the books I have read, mostly from Turnbull. I also looked up the name of Shingen's daughter and the samurai's name that married Toku-hime after Ujinao's death on two different websites. I do not mind adding sources tomorrow. Thank you, and I hope the article is not bad. :)
Joseph Pierce(Akechi Mitsuhide), November 27.
- Looks good, after the sources go in, I'll try to combine in the entry from the Sengoku Biographical dictionary. I can easily help verify some of the facts with the Sengoku Jinmei Jiten in order to add another source as well. Also, we're only linking the first occurence of each name, not every one. I noticed at least Tokugawa Ieyasu had 2 or 3 linked occurences. Easy enough to fix. --Kitsuno 21:39, 27 November 2006 (PST)
I don't mean to be a burden, but I cannot seem to remember where I have gotten some of the information. Such as his capturing of some of the Kanto region from the Oda.-Akechi
- Any information you can't cite from sources will have to be taken out until you can find sources. Sorry for my being a burden, but without full sourcing, credibility is lost and we can get in legal trouble. So, please list your souces like:

- Hey, Akechi Mitsuhide, can you use correct MLA format for your sources? Also, where idd you get that poem? Nagaeyari 20:38, 28 November 2006 (PST)
I am sorry, I am a beginner in writing these articles. Sorry for not adding the source of the poem, I'll add it now. -Akechi
Please forgive me, as I cannot seem to add bullet points...-Akechi
- Akechi, you're doing a great job. It takes a while to get a hang of things, I know. Bullet points can be made by attaching asteriks to the beginning of your line of text. asterik blah blah yields:

Romaji
The "kwatchi" mentioned in this article--is it Kawachi? Nagaeyari 21:35, 28 November 2006 (PST)
- Yup, "Kwatchi" is the archaic outdated spelling that the older books use. --Kitsuno 11:24, 29 November 2006 (PST)
Rule dates
Are the rule dates I got from the MN article right? Was he exiled for a whole year? Nagaeyari 21:35, 28 November 2006 (PST)
- Well, Conrad Totman disagrees with my rule dates. I need another source. What do your books say? Nagaeyari 05:47, 29 November 2006 (PST)
- The Sengoku Jinmei Jiten says that he succeeded his father as head of the clan in 1580, and begain attacking Oda lands in 1582. --Kitsuno 11:29, 29 November 2006 (PST)
