Fujiwara no Kinzane was a Heian period court noble whose sons Saneyuki, Michisue, and Saneyoshi became the founders of the Sanjô, Saionji, and Tokudaiji families respectively.
His daughter Taikenmon-in became a consort to Emperor Toba, and mother to Emperor Go-Shirakawa and Sutoku.
