Matsudaira Naochika was a [[Bakumatsu]] era lord of [[Itoigawa han]]. The seventh son of [[Matsudaira Naritsugu]] and younger brother to lord of [[Akashi han]] [[Matsudaira Yoshinori]], he became lord of Itoigawa in [[1858]] after the previous lord of Itoigawa, [[Matsudaira Mochiaki|Matsudaira Naokiyo]], was made lord of [[Fukui han]], replacing [[Matsudaira Shungaku]], who was forced into retirement as part of the [[Ansei Purge]].
