  • Japanese: 仲祐 (Nakayû)

Nakayû was a man from Tokunoshima who, along with his father Nakatame, helped Saigô Takamori during his exile on that island.

In 1866, Nakayû received permission to travel with Saigô to Kyoto, but then died sometime after arriving there. He is buried at the Saigô Family Cemetery in Kagoshima.
