Shô Shun was a Ryukyuan scholar-bureaucrat who was appointed gaku-keiko bugyô in 1762, overseeing music & dance rehearsals, overall, in preparation for the 1764 Ryukyuan embassy to Edo. He was accompanied in this post by Mô Kôkyû.
