''Shāchuán'' were a type of shipping barge and warship used in [[Ming Dynasty]] China, especially in coastal areas near the mouth of the [[Yangtze River]].
Fitted with multiple masts and squared-off bow and stern, they were known for their sudden bursts of speed.
