*''Japanese'': 御部屋 ''(o heya)''
''Oheya'' was a term used to refer to concubines in the [[Ooku|Ôoku]] who conceived a child with the Shogun. They were moved up in the internal hierarchy of the Ôoku, often to a position just below the Shogun's official wife (''[[midaidokoro]]'') and/or the shogun's mother, and they were granted their own room (''heya'') within the Ôoku compound.
