*Japanese: 三輪 (Miwa)
Miwa is a Noh dance-play in which the goddess of Miwa Shrine recounts the tale of Amaterasu emerging from the cave, in dance form.
A large stage prop is used to represent Miwa Shrine, and also the cave into which the sun goddess retreats. The shite actor, in the role as the goddess of Miwa, dances with a sacred paper wand called a gohei.
