Nobuyoshi's mother, [[Shimoyamadono]], was reputed to be a daughter of [[Takeda Shingen]] who had gone from [[Anayama Beisetsu]] to [[Tokugawa Ieyasu]] following the death of the former in [[1582]]. He was given a 40,000 [[koku]] fief in [[Shimosa province|Shimôsa]] and the name 'Takeda' in [[1594]].
