Terukage was a son of Akai Teruyasu. He served Hôjô Ujiyasu and Ujimasa. Terukage held Tatebayashi castle in southeastern Kôzuke province. He was attacked by Uesugi Kenshin in 1564, and abandoned Tatebayashi. He fled to Musashi province and his fate is unknown.
