Aridôshi Kango joined the Shinsengumi in 6th month of 1863, and was a participant in the Ikedaya Affair and the Sanjo Seisatsu Incident. He stayed with the Shinsengumi through the Boshin War, until he was killed in the Battle of Hakodate.
