- Birth: 1836
- Death: 1863
- Ranks: Mibu Roshigumi Commander
- Japanese: 新見 錦 (Niimi Nishiki or Shinmi Nishiki)
Niimi joined the Roshigumi with Serizawa Kamo.
He was a Mibu Roshigumi commander but later was demoted to vice commander because of his poor conduct.
He was ordered to commit Seppuku because of breaking regulations.
Strangely, Niimi Nishiki is enshrined in Ryozen Gokoku Shrine by Katsura Kogoro. He might be a spy from Choshu han.
