Naitô Nobuteru was the third son of [[Naito Nobuyoshi|Naitô Nobuyoshi]]. Adopted by his brother-in-law [[Naito Kazunobu|Naitô Kazunobu]], he became lord of [[Murakami han]] in [[Echigo province]] in [[1725]]. He died later that year, at age 44.
