If anybody finds misspelling or grammatical errors on my posts, please correct them.

Dear Shikisoku,

I notice you are not using long marks (ô, û) for long vowels. You are either leaving them just "o" as in Goshu or using "ou." I glanced through and changed a few, but you would know much better than I whether they are short or long. If you cannot write in long vowels you might be able to copy from here Ô ô Û û or write a hyphen - after the vowel and ask for help.

Also, you make a list of han. However, the han kept on changing, so you should say what period the lists apply to. --Bethetsu 20:50, 26 September 2006 (PDT) ----

Check out 1569. Most of the dates are listed as 1614!!

I just don't know how to type Ô ô Û û. My keyboard don't have the keys.Can you tell me which keys?--Shikisoku 04:48, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

If you aren't interested in copying them and pasting them, you could directly type them using the following: & u circ ; etc...with the "u" becoming an "o" or so one when you need it. All of those letters, however, should be typed together. I space them ôut to show you what they really look like. Nagaeyari 05:40, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

I think my JIS keyboard isn't capable for the letters. I am going to just copy/paste. Thanks you--Shikisoku 05:52, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

Timeline format

In entries like this:

Did the second bullet point happen on the same day, or just the same month? the sub sections are for things that happened on the same day or month, so, for example, if the second thing happened the same month but not the same day, it should be formatted like this:

If three things happened in the same month, but you only have the day for one of them, it should look like this:

Here are examples of how it should look:

1569

1572

thanks for the assistance with all this!

Link format

Make sure when you create links with names like this: Ôtomo Yoshiaki, you create the link like this: [[Otomo Yoshiaki|Ôtomo Yoshiaki]], because none of the article titles include the "long sound" (Ô), and the first part of the link I just put in goes to the page, the second part is what you see in the article. If you make the link like this: [[Ôtomo Yoshiaki]], it will not link to the correct page.

Thanks!

Han Dates

Thanks for all your work on the provinces. But what is the date for the han? They did change some over time.--Bethetsu 06:00, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
