  • Japanese: 東勝寺 (Toushouji)

Tôshô-ji was the family temple of the Hôjô clan in Kamakura.

It was established in the early 13th century by Hôjô Takatoki, but was destroyed in the 1333 siege of Kamakura.

The temple was rebuilt soon afterwards, and is said to have become third among the top ten temples in the Kantô. But sometime in the Sengoku period, the temple was abandoned and allowed to fall into ruin. The site is today fenced off, as a historical/archaeological site.
