To clarify - was the Shieikan the only school for that sword style, or was it the first, or what? Also, were the listed Shinsengumi members actual members of the Shieikan, or did they just gather there? --Kitsuno 00:39, 15 October 2006 (PDT)

Shieikan was the only school of Tennen Rishin-ryu at the time.It wasn't first though.

Hijikata,Okita,Inoue,Yamanami were pupils of Shieikan, others were Shokkaku 食客. Shokkaku have other sword styles but they live with the Dojo master with pupils and help the Dojo. But whether Saito Hajime was Shokkaku or not is unclear. So i am going to remove his name.--Shikisoku 03:44, 15 October 2006 (PDT)
