Soda Hikosaburo

Sôda Hikosaburô was a resident of Tsushima who was granted court official status in the Joseon (Korean) royal court in 1482. Though he did not live in Korea or serve the court in any concrete fashion, this status granted him benefits when he traveled to Korea to trade.
