Sho Shitatsu

Shô Shitatsu was the fourth king of the united Ryûkyû Kingdom, ruling from 1444 until his death in 1449.

A son of King Shô Chû, he became king himself upon his father's death in 1444. Shitatsu ruled only briefly, however, dying in 1449 with no heir. The succession reverted back up the line to one of his uncles, who took the throne as King Shô Kinpuku the following year.
