Gushikawa Chofuku

Gushikawa Chôfuku was a Ryukyuan scholar-aristocrat who served as zaiban oyakata, overseeing affairs at the Ryûkyû-kan in Kagoshima, from 1853 until 1854.

He traveled to Kagoshima in 1853 as the head of the Ryûkyû Kingdom's annual nentôshi mission, and then took over the position of zaiban oyakata from Katsuren Seiki, remaining there for a term of one year.
